I want to share how to make Tinea Versicolor shampoo and lotion using Naturasil Tinea Versicolor Topical Oil. As someone who has struggled with Tinea Versicolor most of my life—yep, you read that right – MOST of my life, it was a challenge to figure out how to treat it. Dermatologists prescribed medication and ketoconazole body shampoo that reeked of burnt hair (so gross). But none of it worked. Until one all-natural remedy practically fell into my lap one day and changed everything I thought I knew about treating Tinea Versicolor. The best part was that I could make my shampoo and lotion with it!
How to Make Tinea Versicolor Shampoo:
I make it on the spot as needed. All you need is just a quarter-size amount of your favorite shampoo (I like to use a moisturizing shampoo) in your hand, and add just a few drops (2–3) of Naturasil for Tinea Versicolor Topical Oil. Then, all you need to do is lather up and rinse well!
How to Make Tinea Versicolor Lotion:
Making Tinea Versicolor Lotion is super easy! I also make this as needed, so I don’t have to worry about any possible separation of the Tinea Versicolor Oil and the lotion of my choice. Also, it’s nice to make it this way because I can change the cream I use! Though sometimes I like to use good old extra virgin coconut oil, my skin sometimes needs extra soothing, so I will use an intensive therapeutic skin lotion to help alleviate extra dry or itchy patches.
To make Tinea Versicolor Lotion:
Depending on the area of the body that you will be smoothing the lotion on, how much treatment you need will depend on how much medicine you need. I have Tinea Versicolor on my thighs and stomach, so I have a larger area to cover. I will dispense lotion (or coconut oil) into my hand and add 5–10 drops of Naturasil Tinea Versicolor Topical Oil. Then, I rub my hands together and apply them to the affected areas, repeating the process until I’m done!
By making your own tinea versicolor shampoo and lotion, you can control just how much treatment is in it. It also helps cut down on the strong scent of lavender for those who may not enjoy it as much as other folks do.
I hope these tips help! Remember that after using the treatment, you should spend some time in the sunlight! This is important to help get those patches caused by Tinea Versicolor to change back to your regular skin tone!
